Our appraisers were trained at the world headquarters of the Gemological Institute of America in Gemology, and are experts on jewelry and precious gemstones such as diamonds, and colored gemstones such as rubies and sapphires. In addition, our appraiser’s background in jewelry manufacturing gives us a leg up on the appraisal process. We’ve been an independent appraiser for 8 years, and have been in the jewelry industry for over ten years.

We are accredited appraisers and adhere strictly to the ethics and policies of the following associations that we are members of: American Society of Appraisers, American Gem Trade Association, Gemological Institute of America Alumni, and Women's Jewelry Association. 

Tammy Tresor

is a gemologist and goldsmith who is passionate about teaching others, and helping them appreciate gemstones for the miracles that she knows them to be. 

She received her gemological training at the world headquarters of the Gemological Institute of America, commonly known as G.I.A. Her gemological understanding is more advanced than most gemologists, due to her background and degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. She has over 10 years of experience as a jewelry buyer, in jewelry retail, and wholesale, and has appraised for many local retailers before starting her own business as an independent appraiser. She grew up in the industry and is a fourth generation jeweler and also loves helping clients redesign their heirloom jewelry.

She is passionate about giving back and founded a nonprofit called Treasured International, which helps to connect the business and philanthropic sides of the jewelry industry to give back to the communities internationally that are related to the gem trade, aiding in both humanitarian and environmental issues.
